Announcing the 10th-Legion Roadmap
In the past 5 days, we were humbled to see how excited the community is at our launch. We feel it’s time to fill you guys in on our long-term plans for 10th-Legion.
10th-Legion is more than just an NFT collectible project. Our vision is to develop a self-sustaining MetaVerse powered by NFTs and DeFi. To kick-start this vision, we’ve added high utility into the NFTs from our 1st drop. These NFTs are keys that entitle you to receive airdrops of the 2nd collection, the motion comic series, and the EON token.
To explain this in a step-by-step manner, we have divided the roadmap into 3 distinct phases.
In phase 1, our goal is to lay down the foundations of the 10th-Legion MetaVerse. The sale of our first drop will enable us to turbo-charge the development of our game and motion comic series. We will re-invest the proceeds from the sale towards the game and motion comics.
In phase 2, the aim is two-fold. On one side, we will expand the 10th-Legion MetaVerse with our motion comic series and the 2nd collection. Behind the scenes, we will be busy working on our game and the EON token.
In phase 3, we will release the beta version of the 10th-Legion game and airdrop the EON token to collection 1 and 2 owners. The goal for phase 3 is to enable the community to share in the governance and profits of the gaming ecosystem through the EON token.
PHASE 1: LAYING THE FOUNDATION.
Collection 1 will introduce the first six members of 10th-Legion. A maximum of 10,000 NFTs will be up for sale. There will be approximately 1650 NFTs based on each of the six characters:
1- Shockwave
2- Mystic
3- Madcap
4- Barrage
5- Outbreak
6- Windfang
NOV: Collection 1 Presale for Whitelisted Wallets.
The presale for the first collection will take place in November. A limited number of community members will be allowed to participate for 24 hours without worry of gas fees and timing at a discounted price. Each wallet will be allowed to purchase a maximum of 5 NFTs.
This will ensure guaranteed allocations for everyone who is whitelisted and that enough 10th-Legion NFTs will be left over for the public sale.
NOV: Collection 1 Public sale for Everyone.
The public sale will be open to everyone on a first-come-first-served basis. You can buy up to 10 NFTs in one transaction. There won’t be any limit on the number of transactions you want to make.
Collection 1– 50% SOLD: Motion Comic 1st Chapter Release.
We’re not doing regular comic books but rather “Motion Comics”. A “Motion Comic” is a comic book with hand-drawn illustrations that are animated, complete with voice acting and narrations.
This is where you guys will get a sneak peek of the world of New Eden and the stories of its many inhabitants. We’ll release the first chapter of the 10th-Legion motion comic issue #1.
Collection 1– 100% SOLD (+3 Weeks): 10th-Legion Motion Comic Issue #1
Around 3 weeks after the completion of the public sale, we’ll release the full 1st issue of the 10th-Legion motion comic series to collection 1 owners. These comics will be in the form of NFTs that can only be accessed by NFT owners.
From here on, we will release new issues of the motion comics every 2 months exclusively for collection 1 owners.
The proceeds from the sale will go towards executing phases 2 and 3 of the roadmap.
PHASE 2: EXPANSION.
DEC: Collection 2 Release
The 2nd collection will feature 6 new characters in the 10th-Legion MetaVerse. These characters will be female and will also be part of the Motion Comic series and the upcoming game.
Like the 1st drop, owning collection 2 will also entitle you to the motion comic series and the EON token.
50% SOLD: EON Token Development Begins
The EON token will be the only currency of the 10th-Legion gaming ecosystem. You will be able to stake your EON tokens to partake in the governance and profitability of the gaming ecosystem.
Here are some potential use cases for the EON token:
- Buying our games.
- Buying skins.
- Buying loot boxes.
100% SOLD: 10th-Legion Game Trailer & In-game Demo
By the time the sale of the 2nd collection is ending, we expect to be ready to reveal the first in-game demo and trailer for the 10th-Legion game. Only collection 1 and collection 2 owners will have access to the demo version of the game.
PHASE 3: RELEASING THE METAVERSE.
JAN: EON Token Airdrop
In January, we will airdrop the EON token to owners of collection 1 and collection 2 on a pro-rata basis. The more 10th-Legion NFTs you own and the rarer they are, the more EON you get from the airdrop. An exact guide to calculating the amount of EON you’re owed will be released later.
Here’s the exact distribution for the EON token:
- Community: 50%
- DEX Liquidity: 15%
- Treasury: 10%
- Team: 25%
MAR: 10th-Legion Game Release
Public Release of The 10th-Legion Game. The game will be powered by the EON token. This will mark the full release of the 10th-Legion MetaVerse. A new era begins.
